Locating at the heigh of 1500 meter above sea level . This is cool in
summer and cold in the winte. The best
time to visit Sapa is from July to September because this is the rice
season so the landscape is amazing. From November to March is winter
time, most of day is cloudy and foggy, May, June and July are rainy
season.
Sapa has many natural sites such as Love waterfall, golden stream,
Silver waterfall, Ham Rong Mountain. Sapa also is a starting point for
climbers and scientists who want to reach the top of Fansipan Mountain
which is the highest one in Vietnam and Indochina peninsula at 3143 m
above sea level. It also has many beautiful villages such as Cat Cat,
Sin Chai, Lao Chai, Tavan, Ban Ho, Taphin and if want to discover the
unique thing, non-touristy activities you can go to visit some villages
as: Sau Chua, Hau Thao, Hang Da, Y Linh Ho.
Day 1: Ha Noi - Lao Cai – Sa Pa (You can choose staying in hotel or homestay) (B,L,D)
Pick up at Lao Cai train station, have breakfast then drive to Sa Pa by minibus. Arrive in Sa Pa in the mid-morning, and then check in hotel, relax, early afternoon the guide takes you to visit two villages of Black H’mong people (Cat Cat Village), a waterfall and you have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. Back to Sa Pa for dinner. In the evening, you are free to visit Sa Pa town.

After breakfast, the guide takes you to the villages of the H’mong and Dzay called Lao Chai and Ta Van. Have lunch on the way or in a family of the ethnic people. Return to Sa Pa and go back to Lao Cai train station, catch a night train back to Ha Noi. Arrive in Ha Noi at 4.00 am. Tour finishes.
