Lao Cai – Bac Ha – Lung Phinh – Ta Chai – Pa Tu Chi villages (14km trekking)
Pick up at Lao Cai Train station, freshen up, breakfast and then transfer to Bac Ha town let. Coffee break and then on to Lung Phin. Trek starts from Lung Phinh along a large path for 1,5 hour to Ta Chai village of the Phu La ethnic, one of the smallest groups in Vietnam with just about 6,500 inhabitants. Paying visit to a local home before lunch break. After that we trek through mountain trails along narrow valley, corn and rice terraced fields to Ta Chai village which belong to Phu La tribe. Continue our trek about 5km to Pa Tu Chi village which is the home to Flower Hmong.

Day2: Pa Chu Ty – Then Van – Lung cai villages (16km trekking)
Today will be very interesting day because we will trek through the region of the famous Hmong tribal people who are well-know for unique way of living on the highest mountain with slash and burn agriculture in the past. We trek along the narrow foot path up and down hill for 3 hours to Then Van village of Blue and Flower Homg people. It will be the best chance for you to experience the rural life of local people here. Coming into some native houses, it will help you understand more the local tradition, culture and custom. Lunch will be served along the way, and then we continue walking about 3 hours to Lung Cai, another Flower Hong village situated on the high mountain side and over looking down the Chay River.  After checking at our local houses, we have a short walk to discover the unique way of local life or help the local people work on their farm or garden. We stay overnight and have dinner at the local houses.

Day 3: Lung cai – Hoang Nhi Pho – Ban Gia villages (16km trekking)
After our breakfast at the local house, we walk around the village for watching the morning life and leave Lung cai for Hoang Nhi Pho village around  Today, we keep following the trekking route through rice paddies, corn plantations. After 2 hours trekking, we will arrive at Hoang Nhi Pho village where we stop to break and have a picnic lunch at the Hmong family. After lunch, we walk about 3 more hours towards Ban Gia village through a very quite and peaceful region while the trail winds up and down on steep mountain side, offering stunning scenery of narrow valleys dotted with Hmong houses. We stay overnight at Hmong house.


Day 4: Ban Gia – Nan Ma villages (15km trekking)
Today is another great day for enjoying break-taking landscapes of the Chay River massif and Ban gia valley. The trek commences from home stay along a large path on the high mountain side for 2 hours trekking to Khe Phang village and slightly down hill for an hour to Nan Ly village where the Hmong and Mung live together. We will go to visit some local houses, village schools and lunch stop. Our trek continue for 3 hours more through lush farm land of Nan Ma commune in the afternoon and arrive the home stay at the centre of the commune in the late afternoon. If the time permits, we can walk to the village market for breathing of the local life. We have dinner and stay at the local house.

Day 5: Nan Ma – Na Lung – Coc Pu (13km trekking)
We leave Nan Ma village after breakfast, we have chance to witness and experience the beautiful trail almost downhill for the whole morning with amazing rice terraced field and lush fruit farm to Nan Lung village which are inhabited by Nung tribe. These people will be warmly at welcoming visitors with their curiosity for seeing tourists for the first time. Our lunch will be served here and then continue the same trail for nearly 3 hours to Coc pu village, another village of Nung tribe  for staying overnight.

Day 6:  Coc Pu – Sin Man – Hoang Su Phi (8km trekking)
Today is your relaxing day. We leave Coc Pu late than the previous days. After our breakfast, we have a 2 hour easy trekking to Coc Pai town of Sin Man District. Walking to the market place for an hour and then being transferred by car to Hoang Su Phi. Check in at the local hotel and then you are free to relax for the rest of day. The next day, you will be transferred to Dong Van Highland or Hanoi on your request.
